Climate reactive servicing
Reactive Servicing Request (breakdowns)
If your gas system stops working or isn’t working correctly, please call us (06 769 6410). If we can’t resolve the issue over the phone, we’ll send a technician out to you. Our aim is to get your system up and running as quickly as we can.
Emergency Service Callout (afterhours)
If your system breaks down afterhours, our emergency service callout fee is $270, which covers the first hour of work. For any time worked after the first hour, you will be charged at our normal hourly rate, plus a vehicle service fee and the cost of required parts. Most emergency callouts can be resolved in the first hour or be stabilised until we can return the next day.
If we are called out on a Public Holiday, an additional callout fee will be charged to cover our obligation to our tradespeople under the Holidays Act 2003.

Prevent small issues from becoming big ones
All gas appliances and systems should be serviced regularly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to maintain their efficiency, performance and safety. Regular servicing also ensures validity of the warranty and prevents small issues from becoming big ones.
PLEASE NOTE: During our busy winter months, we attend breakdowns only as we want to make sure people keep on living life warm and defer any planned maintenance servicing to the months of October through to March.

Maintenance service request
If your system has not been serviced for a while or you feel that your system is not operating correctly, please call us (06 769 6410) to schedule a maintenance service visit. Alternately, you may use the form to the right to request servicing.
Climate's asset management system
We offer a comprehensive asset management system that allows us to
keep track of all gas appliances at your property. When we set up a new
property, we first document important information about each appliance,
- Type of appliance
- Date installed
- Model and serial number
- Location and site of appliance
- Any other relevant details.
After the initial set up, Climate will manage both planned maintenance and reactive servicing for your appliances. We will recommend how often your appliance should be serviced and then get in touch when the system alerts us of an upcoming service. In the event of a breakdown, our technicians are able to quickly access information about the faulty appliance through their mobile devices, allowing them to resolve the issue quickly.
If you have multiple sites, such as rental properties or office branches, we can associate your gasfitting appliances (assets) to each site. If your property is sold, the assets will remain linked to the site, providing the new owner with access to this valuable information.
You can keep track too!
Included in Climate’s system is a customer portal. This allows you to manage your assets and view the following information in real time:
- A list of all your sites (editable)
- A database of all your assets recorded at each site
- Reports that include planned maintenance test results, defects and recommendations
- Any quotes we have created for you
- Any jobs we have pending, in progress, completed and invoiced
- A history of your invoices
The customer portal makes it easy to keep your gasfitting assets in good working order, while also allowing you to financially and operatively plan for their replacement.
